Hanover Park’s The Bridge (AKA El Puente) hosted a United Hispanic Meeting on Sunday. It was a great time of fellowship and united community.
Not that statistics matter…Over one hundred people attended from various Corps (La Villita, Templo Laramie, Oakbrook Terrace, East Chicago and Des Plaines). 39 of those who attended were regular attendees of El Puente! This is phenomenal because the Bridge is a recent Corps Plant and is already established and has community in the congregation. Respect to Templo Laramie who showed up an hour early and walked around the neighborhood spreading the word about the meeting.
