Last weekend the Mayfair Community Church hosted Project 24/29—a Salvation Army initiative—that raises money for World Services.
Youth from the Mayfair, Norridge, Oak Brook Terrace and Hammond-Munster Corps raised pledges and had people sponsor them as they participated in a 24 hour fast. They also took part in small group bible studies, worked on mission projects, played games, worshipped and prayed together throughout the night.
