The Mayfair Community Church is hosting a Prayer & Praise Night next Friday, April 21st starting at 7pm. It will be a night of fellowship, prayer, praise and teaching for the youth of the Division.
There will be a time of open testimony in which you can share what the Lord is doing in your lives and at your Corps. Members of the Seed Growing Club (from the last P&PN) are encouraged to bring in their plants (no matter how large or how small or not at all they have grown). Please share what you learned about sowing good seed.
There will also be a “sword drill” and prizes will be given to those with a fast scripture finding skills.
The message will observe the story of Gideon destroying the Midianites (Judges 6-7) and God’s ability to use “a remnant” to do great things.
Here’s what you should bring:
-Your Bibles; there will be a “sword drill”.
-A testimony (don’t forget your plants!).
-$2 to help pay for the snack.
Here’s what you should know:
-We will talk about Band of Survivors, Youth Councils and Congress.
-You may want to car pool or organize transportation with your Officer/Youth Leader/Friends. It’s better that way.
