On Friday night the Mayfair Community Church hosted the eighth and final Prayer & Praise Night of the 2005-2006 school year. We had over 160 people attend! We praised, we prayed, we sword drilled, we studied Judges 6. We even blew rams’ horns and shouted “For the Lord and for Gideon!” Praise God for the awesome things he can do through 300 “dog drinkers” and for being faithful to His remnant.
It has been an awesome journey and I personally want to thank everyone who has been a part of this new youth initiative.
We are having three Prayer & Praise Nights during the summer. The first one is on Friday, June 30th at the Waukegan Corps.
I will leave you with Catherine Booth’s prophecy of what this remnant will do:
“The decree has gone forth that the kingdoms of the world shall become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ and that He shall reign, whose right it is, from the River to the ends of the earth. We shall win. It is only a matter of time. I believe that this Movement shall inaugurate the great final conquest of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
