Band of Survivors is being challenged to be set free from what is keeping us bondage by reading the book of Exodus. As a leader I’ve been amazed as to how God has brought my group together. We are coming from a place of where we are breaking away from the sins that have kept us chained and broken. I believe God is allowing us to feel that for his people.
Today we went to Waukegan Corp and help to minister at Marion Jones Housing Project through a carnival. We were able to meet several children who were open to show love to us. We provided food and games to which the community welcomed. Towards the end Eddie shared the gospel with the children and prayed for them. We saw a community that on the surface seemed broken but had a lot to offer. It began to stir out hearts and we left blessed.
