So today we started off the day by moving all of our stuff from our old apartments into our new ones. I am not too fond of the new apartments only because it is just my cell group (plus Arielle) in my apartment and I preferred it when Karissa and Franny were in the same apartment as us. But anyways! And today we started two hours prayer shifts! I am so excited for the two hour shifts because it was starting to feel like the one hour shifts were starting to feel like there wasn’t enough time to do everything I wanted to do during my shift. So after cell group, we headed to Blue Island to get ready for the Hispanic service and Sunday. And I had to go directly to the prayer chapel because I had my shift. And during the last maybe 20 minutes of my shift, Nate asks me if I could give a testimony for the Hispanic service…oh boy. But luckily, I was able to finish off my prayer shift working on my testimony. But after my shift, we either read the chapters for Salvationism class for Monday or just hung out. I had already read the chapters so I just hung out until dinner. And for dinner, we went out to eat to some Mexican place for burritos. It was reallllly good! After dinner we headed back to the corps for the service. The Hispanic service was good. Thanks goodness that I am taking Spanish in school! But Josh Polanco translated my testimony for me so I wasn’t that nervous. And I don’t think that I was really that nervous about my testimony because I was at my home corps and most of the people I had seen around the corps at some time. I think my testimony went well, I could have done better but I tried!
