Frederick Booth-Tucker AKA “Lion of God” T-Shirt
At this Youth Councils, we are continuing an effort we started at Youth Councils 2010. Many of you will remember that last year we raised money for the victims of the flood in Pakistan by selling our T-Shirts at $10.00 a piece. Instead of printing and giving away a quality Salvation Army T-Shirt, we still provided a very quality shirt, but also enabled you to do something good for the world with your purchase. One hundred percent of the proceeds went directly to SAWSO’s relief efforts to help the millions affected in Pakistan.
We are doing this same thing this year, but our target is different. This year all of the proceeds will go to The Salvation Army Eluru Girls’ Hostel in the India Central Territory. To make sure no one gets left out of this sweet opportunity, your Corps Officers will build the $10.00 into your Youth Councils fee up front. You’ll then pick up your shirt at Camp.
