Tis’ the season to see The Salvation Army standing outside every store in town ringing bells at their red kettle collecting money. Thousands volunteer each year and spend time ringing bells and thousands more are supplied with a seasonal job to help them through the holidays. Public contributions to Salvation Army red kettles enable the organization to continue its year-round efforts at helping those who would otherwise be forgotten.
