At the Chicago Central ARC Prayer & Praise Night, God did amazing things! Youth Pastor Justin Rose (from the Mayfair Corps) gave a great message on materialism from Colossians 3:1-4, bringing up so many good points to chew on. I hope you’ve been meditating on some of those things. If you need a refresher, download and listen to the podcast. Unfortunately, we were unable to record the whole sermon, so you’ll get the last 25 minutes. Don’t worry, those 25 minutes were still really great!
For your reference, Colossians 3:1-4 says:
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your[a] life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
