Not too long ago we released information about an Asbury University visitation weekend for Salvationists that’s happening from January 26-27. Just today we received word that transportation will be provided, and that meals on the way to and from Asbury will be paid for, all by the Territorial Youth Department. If this is a game changer for you, you should totally register NOW!

Below is a copy of the email we got that has all the need to know info. Check it out:

Asbury University will be holding Winter ACCESS Days from January 26–27, 2012. This is a great opportunity to experience the Asbury community firsthand. Explore majors, attend classes, worship in chapel, meet professors and students and spend the night in a residence hall. The ACCESS schedule will conclude early Friday evening, January 27.

Immediately following the Admissions Office sponsored event, Salvation Army students will have an opportunity to experience The Salvation Army campus community firsthand for the rest of the weekend, January 27-29. The SASF (Salvation Army Student Fellowship) will provide opportunities to experience the Moulton Memorial Student Center, meet The Salvation Army students who are enrolled in the University, as well as experience fun and fellowship events in Wilmore, Lexington and surrounding communities. This portion of the visitation weekend will conclude after Sunday morning worship with the SASF.

It’s a good opportunity for Junior and those Seniors still undecided. While the focus of the weekend is Asbury and SASF, the positive aspect over the years has been to start conversations with students about their future and educational paths they’re interested in pursuing, what type of schools/setting are they most comfortable with, etc.

Maribeth and Bob Swanson have graciously offered to take a group (high school juniors and seniors) to the Asbury College Preview Weekend, January 26-29, 2012.

If you’re interested in attending, here’s the schedule:

Thursday, January 26, 3:00pm: Leave THQ Parking Lot
Sunday, January 29, 8:00pm: Return to THQ Parking Lot
